MyShowcase LLC (“MyShowcase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you access or use the MyShowcase website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use the Service.

Introduction

MyShowcase is a software platform designed to help collectors, dealers, hobby businesses, and organizations manage collectible inventory and streamline hobby-related operations. The Service provides tools and features that may include inventory management, card cataloging, pricing and market insights, label generation and printing, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) assistance, show preparation, marketplace integrations, reporting, and other related services.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you create an account, subscribe to the Service, communicate with us, connect third-party services, or otherwise interact with MyShowcase. This information may include your name, email address, phone number, business or organization name, profile information, subscription information, account preferences, and communications with MyShowcase or other users through the Service.

To provide inventory management features, we may collect and store information you create or upload through the Service, including inventory records, collectible details, photographs, scanned images, purchase and sales records, pricing information, locations, labels, notes, reports, and other content you choose to submit. If you choose to use artificial intelligence (AI) features, we may process uploaded images, text, and inventory information to identify collectibles, extract information, generate descriptions, organize inventory, provide recommendations, and improve the functionality of the Service.

When you connect third-party services or marketplace integrations, such as payment processors, marketplaces, grading services, shipping providers, or other supported platforms, we may receive and store information necessary to provide those integrations. The information collected depends on the services you connect and may include account identifiers, listing information, inventory information, transaction details, subscription status, authentication tokens, and other information authorized by you.

When you subscribe to paid features or make purchases through the Service, payment information is processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. MyShowcase does not store your full payment card number or sensitive payment credentials. We may receive limited transaction-related information, such as payment confirmations, subscription status, billing history, and transaction identifiers, for operational, customer support, fraud prevention, and accounting purposes.

We also automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you access or use the Service. This may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system, device type, device identifiers, application version, language settings, log files, usage activity, referring URLs, and diagnostic information.

If you access the Service through a mobile application, we may collect device identifiers, crash reports, performance diagnostics, mobile operating system information, and application usage data to improve the security, reliability, and functionality of the Service. We may also store your push notification preferences if you choose to enable notifications.

Certain features of the Service may require access to your device’s camera, photo library, file storage, Bluetooth capabilities, or other device features. We access these permissions only with your authorization and solely for the purpose of providing the functionality you request, such as photographing inventory, importing images, scanning collectibles, printing labels, or connecting to supported hardware.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and to provide the features and functionality requested by our users. Specifically, we may use your information to:

  • Create, maintain, and manage user accounts and subscriptions;
  • Store, organize, synchronize, and display inventory and collection information;
  • Process inventory images and other content using artificial intelligence (AI), optical character recognition (OCR), and other automated technologies to identify collectibles, extract information, generate descriptions, organize inventory, provide recommendations, and improve the Service;
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and provide billing and account support;
  • Facilitate integrations with third-party marketplaces, payment processors, grading companies, shipping providers, and other connected services that you choose to use;
  • Generate labels, reports, analytics, dashboards, exports, and other tools designed to help users manage their collections and businesses;
  • Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate with users regarding their accounts or the Service;
  • Send service-related communications, including security alerts, subscription notices, feature announcements, synchronization updates, and other operational notifications;
  • Monitor usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, improve performance, develop new features, and enhance the reliability, security, and functionality of the Service;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests; and
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, and security of MyShowcase, our users, and others.

We may also use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for research, analytics, product development, service improvements, and other lawful business purposes. Such information does not identify you personally.

MyShowcase does not sell your personal information. We share personal information only as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by you.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, customer support providers, email and notification providers, artificial intelligence (AI) service providers, security providers, and other vendors necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to connect your MyShowcase account with a third-party marketplace, payment processor, grading company, shipping provider, or other supported service, we may exchange information with those services as necessary to provide the requested integration. The information shared will depend on the specific integration you authorize.

Organizations and Team Accounts

If you use MyShowcase as part of an organization, business, or team account, information associated with your account, including inventory, activity, and account information, may be visible to authorized administrators and users within that organization based on their assigned permissions.

Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights

We may disclose information when we believe such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, safety, security, or legal interests of MyShowcase, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

With Your Consent

We may share your information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, MyShowcase does not disclose your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

MyShowcase uses cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Service. These technologies help us maintain user sessions, remember preferences, authenticate users, provide essential functionality, analyze how the Service is used, improve performance, and enhance the overall user experience.

If you access the Service through a web browser, you may control or disable certain cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies or similar technologies may affect the availability or functionality of certain features of the Service.

If you access the Service through a mobile application, the application may use device-based technologies, local storage, and similar mechanisms necessary to support authentication, security, application performance, offline functionality, analytics, and other essential features. These technologies are used solely as described in this Privacy Policy.

Marketplace and Third-Party Integrations

MyShowcase may allow you to connect your account with third-party marketplaces, payment processors, grading companies, pricing services, shipping providers, authentication services, and other supported platforms (collectively, “Third-Party Services”), including, without limitation, Stripe, eBay, TCGplayer, COMC, PSA, Beckett, SGC, Card Ladder, 130point, Goldin, and similar services.

If you choose to connect a Third-Party Service, MyShowcase may collect, receive, use, store, and transmit information between the Service and the Third-Party Service as necessary to establish, maintain, and support the requested integration. Depending on the integration, this information may include account identifiers, authentication credentials or access tokens, inventory information, listing information, transaction data, grading information, pricing information, shipping information, subscription status, and other data required to provide the requested functionality.

Information shared with a Third-Party Service is subject to that service’s own privacy policy, terms of service, and data handling practices. MyShowcase is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or practices of any Third-Party Service.

You may disconnect supported Third-Party Services at any time through the Service, where available. Disconnecting an integration may prevent certain features from functioning and may not affect information previously shared with the applicable Third-Party Service in accordance with its own policies.

MyShowcase may add, modify, or discontinue support for Third-Party Services at any time as the Service evolves.

Mobile Device Permissions

Depending on the features you choose to use, MyShowcase may request access to certain device permissions. We request only those permissions that are reasonably necessary to provide the functionality you choose to use.

Camera — Used to photograph collectibles, scan inventory, capture receipts, and utilize optical character recognition (OCR) and other image-based features.

Photo Library — Used to allow you to select, import, upload, store, and manage photographs of collectibles, receipts, labels, and other content within the Service.

Notifications — Used to deliver optional push notifications relating to account activity, inventory synchronization, security alerts, subscription information, marketplace integrations, application updates, and other Service-related communications.

File Storage — Used to import, export, save, and manage inventory files, reports, labels, images, and other documents generated or used by the Service.

Bluetooth — If supported by your device and enabled by you, Bluetooth access may be used to discover, connect to, and communicate with compatible printers, barcode scanners, or other supported hardware. Bluetooth access is used solely to provide these requested features.

Location Services — MyShowcase does not require access to your device’s location for normal operation. If location-based features are introduced in the future, location access will only be requested with your permission and used solely to provide the functionality you choose to enable.

You may manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device’s operating system settings. Please note that disabling certain permissions may limit or prevent the use of related features within the Service.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, MyShowcase may send notifications relating to your account, inventory activity, synchronization status, subscription and billing information, security alerts, marketplace integrations, application updates, feature announcements, and other Service-related communications.

Push notifications are optional and may be managed through your device’s operating system settings or, where available, within the Service. Disabling push notifications may limit your ability to receive certain real-time updates, security alerts, or other important information regarding your account or the Service.

MyShowcase does not use push notifications to collect additional personal information beyond what is otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Offline Storage

To support Offline Mode and other mobile functionality, MyShowcase may store certain information locally on your device, including inventory records, photographs, labels, settings, and other data necessary to provide requested features when an internet connection is unavailable or limited.

Information stored locally may synchronize with MyShowcase’s servers when your device reconnects to the internet. Depending on connectivity, synchronization status, or changes made across multiple devices, synchronization may not occur immediately and may result in delays, conflicts, duplicate records, or other synchronization issues.

MyShowcase takes commercially reasonable measures to protect information stored through the Service; however, users are responsible for maintaining the physical security of their devices and protecting access to their accounts. If you lose access to your device or use the Service on a shared device, locally stored information may remain accessible until the device is secured or the application data is removed.

By using Offline Mode, you acknowledge and consent to the local storage and subsequent synchronization of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Processing

To provide certain features of the Service, MyShowcase may use artificial intelligence (“AI”), machine learning, optical character recognition (OCR), and other automated technologies to process information that you choose to submit through the Service.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Identify collectibles from uploaded images;
  • Extract information from photographs, labels, receipts, or other documents;
  • Generate inventory descriptions and other content;
  • Categorize and organize inventory;
  • Suggest pricing information, comparable sales, or market insights;
  • Improve search functionality and inventory management;
  • Generate reports, summaries, labels, and recommendations; and
  • Improve the accuracy, performance, and functionality of the Service.

Depending on the feature you choose to use, AI processing may involve uploaded images, inventory records, text, labels, notes, and other information that you voluntarily submit to the Service.

MyShowcase may use trusted third-party artificial intelligence service providers to process this information on our behalf. Such providers are contractually required to process information only as necessary to provide the requested functionality and in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.

We do not use your personal information or content to train publicly available artificial intelligence models except with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

You remain the owner of your content as described in our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. AI processing is performed solely to provide, maintain, improve, and support the features of the Service that you choose to use.

Data Retention

MyShowcase retains personal information, inventory records, photographs, labels, reports, transaction history, account information, and other user-generated content only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the Service.

The length of time we retain information depends on the nature of the information, the purposes for which it was collected, your account status, applicable legal requirements, and our legitimate business needs.

Following account deletion or termination, certain information may be retained for a limited period in backup systems, disaster recovery systems, audit logs, security records, financial records, or other archival systems where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, operational, fraud prevention, or business continuity purposes.

When information is no longer required for these purposes, MyShowcase will delete, anonymize, or de-identify the information within a commercially reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.

Data Security

MyShowcase implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information and other data stored through the Service. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption where appropriate, system monitoring, secure data storage practices, and other security measures designed to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of information.

While we take the security of your information seriously and continually work to improve our security practices, no method of transmitting data over the Internet, electronic storage system, or security technology is completely secure. As a result, MyShowcase cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information or that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data will never occur.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts, including protecting their passwords, enabling available security features where appropriate, and notifying MyShowcase promptly of any suspected unauthorized access to their account.

Children and Minors’ Privacy

MyShowcase allows individuals between the ages of 13 and 19 to use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use the Service, the parent or legal guardian represents that they consent to the collection, use, and sharing of the minor’s information as described in this Privacy Policy.

MyShowcase does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us to review, update, or request deletion of a minor’s information.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the ability to:

  • Request access to the personal information we maintain about you;
  • Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your MyShowcase account and associated personal information at any time by using the account deletion feature within the Service, if available, or by contacting us using the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.

Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, we will take commercially reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period of time, subject to applicable law and our legitimate business needs.

Certain information may be retained after account deletion where necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements;
  • Complete or document financial transactions;
  • Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, security incidents, or other unlawful activity;
  • Resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;
  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, or business continuity systems for a limited period; or
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of MyShowcase, our users, or others.

Following account deletion, certain information may remain in aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Such information is not considered personal information and may be retained for analytics, product improvement, research, and other lawful business purposes.

International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand and consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the policy. Continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
